Peel and slice the plantains into lengthwise strips.

Put plantain strips in a zip lock bag, adding rapeseed oil and barbecue rub. Mix and marinate for 30 mins.
3.
On a medium-high heat grill the plantains for about 3-4 minutes per side, until caramelised and tender.
4.
Transfer the grilled plantains to a serving plate and sprinkle with fresh coriander and a squeeze of lime juice for added freshness.
5.
Leave to cool for a moment and serve
