Outback Excel 200 Gas Barbecue

Outback’s smaller barbecues feature a large burner with dual control mechanism, which means the burner fits into the entire cooking base area, yet has fully adjustable knobs which sit on the control panel for moderating the heat.

The Excel 200 features a porcelain coated cooking grill giving a completely rust and corrosion proof finish that can last a lifetime. After cooking, simply wash away any fat and food debris in hot soapy water.

A swing away warming rack is ideal for increasing your overall cooking area. It enables you to place food on it once it has been cooked making room on the grills and griddles for actual cooking. Food placed on a warming rack will keep warm from the heat of the main cooking area.

When you consider purchasing a barbecue, it is often discussed how much space will it take up during storage? A selection of our Outback barbecues include folding side shelves which will allow simple re-position for compact storage when the barbecue isn’t in use. The benefit of having this flexibility is that they give you much more preparation space when you are cooking. Often we say place raw meat on one shelf and cooked on the other. After use, simply fold down.

A barbecue should be kept covered at all times when not in use. For the cover to give optimum performance, please ensure that you remove any moisture from the model before placing the cover over it to avoid mould forming underneath. Even when a barbecue is placed inside, say in a shed or garage, please continue to keep it covered to avoid dust and insect build up.

It is important where you position your gas bottle and on the Outback range of barbecues the position is to the left hand side of the model. To enable the cylinder to be kept firmly in place, a selection of our models feature a gas bottle holder with 2 handy holding straps that fit around the bottle meaning you don’t need to disconnect the gas bottle when moving the barbecue.
